With a hand of five cards dealt to us, we might expect the usual card suits, numbers and face cards. But not so. Instead, our cards are decorated with classic symbols that would be right at home on vintage online slots. Gameplay

Following our initial deal of a five card hand, we have the option to “Hold” any number of cards as we bid to make winning combos. Having chosen our cards to hold, we then hit “Draw” to swap the remaining cards we have not held.

If these additional cards form winning combos we earn the winnings as described in the pay table. We can use the Auto Hold option, which sees the game choose which cards to hold for us. Interestingly, though, using Auto Hold offers us the lower of Abracardabra’s two RTPs so there is plenty to be said for playing our own game.

To trigger the Abracardabra Bonus we must land three, four or five bonus Scatters in any card position. Three Scatters give us a x1 bonus winnings multiplier, four offers x2 while landing all five Scatters grants a magical x10 multiplier - the stuff to enthrall any audience. We are then dealt a five card hand with 12 cards lined up underneath.

Any winning combos are replaced by cards from the cards below our hand to create further winning combinations, all boosted by our triggering Scatter multiplied at the end of the feature.

Verdict

From such a simple concept of a five card poker hand, Betdigital has given us a multi-layered instant win casual game that draws as much from classic online slots as it does from poker.
