If we were to have to describe Cash of Kingdoms in one word it would be “romp”. The Knight, Mage, Archer, Bombardier and Rogue look at once like they mean business while also maintaining a cheeky cartoonish impishness that carries the action through on a lighthearted swathe of spinning reels.

Gameplay

The Cash of Kingdoms game logo is the Wild in question, acting as a regular Wild when it appears on its own on reels 1, 2 and 3. But if it appears as a Stacked Wild on reels 2 or 4 we trigger the Invading Wilds feature.

The Wild stack now wages war on an adjacent reel by invading it, creating multiple Wild wins from the game’s Pays Both Ways system. But when we land Stacked Wilds on reels 2 and 4, we automatically trigger another Stacked Wild on reel 3.

With three full Stacked Wilds and paylines coming left-to-right and right-to-left it’s like we are in the middle of the best kind of battle - one we can only win. And that’s just in the base game. When we land three Treasure Chest Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 to fire up the Free Spins bonus feature we bag 10 free spins to grab as many wins as we can.

But if we land full Wild Stacks on reels 2 and 4 during the bonus game, all wins are doubled. We can also extend our bonus run by landing extra Scatters, extending the feature by one free spin for each Scatter we land.

Verdict

It might have a medieval theme, but the Cash of Kingdom slot is bang up to date when it comes to gameplay, graphics and bonus features. The Pays Both Ways system is always a slots fans’ favourite, and effectively doubles the 15 paylines the base game features.

But when we land a big win during the bonus round with the Invading Wilds feature we really make the most of this medieval romp and stretch our longbow to aim for that 100,000 jackpot over which this slot has us salivating.
