ELK’s Kaiju slot delivers us to the streets of Tokyo some time in the future, looking all Blade Runner in the grimy rain.

Human Android 42 - HA-42 - is our guide through these dystopian streets as we hunt red, blue and green Credit Cards as our low-payers and Gem Crystals as our high-paying symbols. These gem crystals grow on the skin of the Kaiju, which makes them cranky and want to take over the world.

If you’re thinking Manga-style animation you’re very much on the right lines, with the game’s theme backed up superbly by the graphics and gameplay. As always with ELK’s slots, our game space is fully immersive as we hunt down 243 Way Wins during the base game.


Gameplay

As wild as the story is, Kaiju doesn’t feature a set Wild symbol. Instead, any three symbols that form winning combos create Lazer Wilds above the reels.

Multiple winning combos create multiple Lazer Wilds, extending the reels to create further Ways to Win. HA-42 appears as the key to our story - and the key to bagging big wins, too. She launches the Kaiju Battle Bonus game when she lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 to deliver 7 free spins for us to defeat three Kaiju beasts. That might seem a tall order, but when we land Lazer Wilds to expand the reel case we extend the reel case and earn additional spins.
