Queen Of The Castle definitely falls into the cartoonish category, a trademark style for NextGen that we have seen put to excellent effect in slots like Fat Cat and Funky Chicken. The Aussie studio’s ambitions are a tad loftier here, though.

The castle of the game’s title is a yellow stone affair, resplendent in front of rolling green hills and surrounded by a moat of azure blue. The game’s symbols follow this pattern, playfully drawn and coloured. The Queen herself shows us her wild side as a stacked Wild symbol, and she can emerge from the door at the foot of a tower, snap her fingers and create bonus-wielding Vines locking the reels.

Other game symbols start of as Jacks through Aces, then move up in the shape of variously coloured Jewels, Throne, Coins, Dog (no Queen would be complete without one) before the regal Queen Of The Castle game logo takes its place as our top-paying symbol.

Gameplay
