Blueprint Gaming brings everybody’s favourite foul-mouthed teddy to life expertly via this superbly designed and delivered Ted Slot game. Seth MacFarlane’s Ted was a hit, grossing over $200million worldwide.

We know that Ted loves to party. (Or should that be paaarty?) Whatever party happened here, Ted looks like he’s had enough. He spends most of his time during our spinning of the reels sleeping. Or, more likely, comatose. The party carries on regardless, but Ted springs to life once more during the slot’s various bonus features.

He springs up from his slumber, hurling Wilds, beers and blowing psychedelic bonus spins at the reels like they’re going out of fashion. Which, of course, they aren’t. Our low-paying game symbols might be Jacks through Aces that make up the numbers, but the medium and high-payers do Ted justice as some of his favourite things - Bong, Beers, Lady and, err...Duck. Fans of the movie will get it.

Gameplay

Fittingly, Ted himself is the game’s Wild symbol, substituting for all symbols except Thunder Buddies Bonus Scatters. Landing three or more of these Scatters triggers the sought after Thunder Buddies Bonus feature.

In to the feature and we can launch either the Wheel of Fortune, Bar Crawl Bonus, S.Mart Free Spins, Ted Free Spins and Ted Big Money Bonus. Each bonus variant adds its own flavour to the reels, freshening up the gameplay and giving us achievements to aim for. Like one of Ted’s parties, the gameplay is moreish.

Verdict

Blueprint continues its excellent track record of adapting smash hit comedy classics to the slots screen. Play online, tablet or mobile and become the Thunder buddy this teddy has always dreamed of.

Of course, we have to put up with Ted’s foul language along the way. If that’s a deal breaker, then maybe you should find another slot. But if you’re keen to get down and dirty, Ted is definitely the slot for you.
